The online Charity Raffle and Auction is our second and final fundraiser each year. The funds raised from this event are used to sponsor our holiday project: Blessing Families. In partnership with Cabot Christmas Alliance and fulfilling our commitment to provide for needs while fostering ongoing relationships, we go shopping with parents to ensure their children get exactly what they want for Christmas. While shopping, we also make sure essentials (clothing, toiletries, etc.) are included as well as holiday items if they are needed (Christmas tree, stockings, wrapping paper, etc.).
In addition to making sure the children are provided for, we also provide gifts and necessities for the adults living in the home as well. This project is one of our absolute favorites!
In 2022, thanks to the support of our local businesses and community members, we raised just over $14,000 to support the work that we do with families and children in our community during the holidays.
